About SCFOA District 11 Football Officials
In South Carolina, game assignment is administered by the SC High School League (SCHSL) office in Columbia. There are 13 sub-groups throughout the state called Districts. Each District is responsible for the training and education of officials that live within their geographic borders as well as scheduling of games on the sub-varsity level, pre-season games, scrimmages and jamborees. Our local district is comprised mainly of Horry, Georgetown and Williamsburg counties. We are known as District 11 of the SC Football Officials Association (SCFOA).
Below is the Board of Directors for District 11 Football Officials Association. The Director is elected for a three year term and the Past Director is an ex-officio member for a three year period as well. The Booking Officer and Secretary/Treasurer are appointed by and serve at the pleasure of the Director. The Referee, Linesman and Back Judge are elected for a two year term in odd years and the Line Judge and Umpire are elected in even years.
