   Gentlemen, the start of another football training season is fast approaching.  I hope that everyone is excited about getting started again.  We will begin our football rules meetings on Monday, April 14, 2008 with our annual pre-season cook out and get together.  The cook out will begin at 6:30 p.m. at Forestbrook Clubhouse in Myrtle Beach, SC.  The address is 1100 Forestbrook Road (about three miles off of Highway 501).

    This will be an exciting year for us in District 11.  Recently our Board of Director’s meet and there are a few things that I would like to discuss with everyone.  I will do so below.

1)      We will meet at the same location as last year the Myrtle Beach Police Annex Bldg on the old Air Force Base the address is 3340 Mustang St. Myrtle Beach, S.C. 25977

2)      All Scrimmages and Jamborees will be posted on District 11 web site so each official should check it every day for any changes also any forms that are need can be obtained from the web site. Donnie Strong will be the booking official for District 11 JV & B games are booked by him as are Scrimmages and Jamborees. Any changes will be done by him.

3)      New and Transfer Officials: I am aware of several new officials that will be joining us for the 2008 season and a few that will be transferring into our district as well.  With these projected additions it is possible that our district will stay above the 50-official-mark for 2008 season. Please make all the new or transferred officials feel welcome in District 11.

4)      The last thing that I would like to mention is I look forward to seeing everyone at our first meeting/dinner on April 14, 2008.  At this meeting I will have physical forms, state and local applications, meeting schedules please if you have any questions call or email me anytime
